At ELC Information Security, LLC (“ELC”) we care about your Privacy, and we want to make sure you understand your options when you visit our website (“Site”). This Privacy Statement describes the types of information ELC collects from and about you when you visit our site, request a course Demo, or request other product information.
Information you Provide
We collect the following information when you register on our site for a product Demo, place an order, or subscribe to our Learning Management System:
- Name (First Name and Last Name)
- Email address
- Name of your Organization
- Phone number
- Postal address for invoicing purposes
Information we Automatically Collect
As with most websites, when you visit our site, our servers record information that your browser sends. This information is saved in our server logs. It includes:
- IP address
• browser type (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, etc.)
• browser language
• date and time of your visit
Please note that you can be identified by IP address, since your ISP has information linking your account to your IP address.
Beyond the data gathering described above, we may use our website to ask you for data for specific purposes. When we ask you for data for a specific purpose, we will clearly tell you how we intend to use it. You will have the option of supplying it or refusing to supply it.
User Communications. Whenever you send us an email or other communication, we retain the information you send.
Account Information. When you request or otherwise review a Demo Training Course on our Learning Management System, we create an account for you, using your name and email address, and ask you to create a password.
We use this information to verify your identity to access our secure LMS. We also use this information to communicate with you. We will not use this data for any other purpose without your consent, except if otherwise by law.
When you visit our website, we send a cookie file to your computer. A cookie file is a tiny file with an identification code so that we can identify your computer and know when you come back and visit our site again.

How we protect your information
ELC has implemented technical and organizational procedures and policies to aid in the prevention of unauthorized access to, and improper use of, loss, disclosure, alteration or destruction of information we collect from you.

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties necessary to fulfill your request (e.g. to ship an order), or service you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.
